Jonathan Lindhorst first picked up a saxophone at the age of eleven and hasn't looked back
since. He began gigging professionally at the age of fifteen, and he has played with
some of the best musicians in Canada, including Mike Murley, Phil Nimmons, Hugh Fraser,
Barry Elmes and Remi Bolduc.
He studied with Mike Murley and Frank Lozano as well as attended clinics by the likes
of Seamus Blake, George Garzone, Gerry Bergonzi, Jimmy Heath and Ingrid Jensen, to name a
few. And in 2000, he toured France and Switzerland with the Hamilton All Star Jazz
Band, playing shows and jazz festivals in Montreux, Vienne, Antibes, Aix-en-Provence and
Paris.
Jonathan He is currently finishing a music degree at Montréal's McGill University as
well as studying with saxophonist Remi Bolduc.
