Bellegarde/Lavielle/Matey/Nisenson: global-groove-free jazz
Four Montreal-based musicians from a
range of cultural and musical backgrounds combine their talents: bassist Alex Bellegarde, Cuban congero Orlando
Lavielle, Togolese percussionist Moïse Yawo Matey and Argentinean saxophonist
Damian Nisenson. Their sound... a fusion of West African and Cuban rhythms, funk-groove and free
jazz. Recording project for 2008.
